The University of Cincinnati has confirmed its 2026 non-conference game with the Dayton Flyers will take place on Saturday, Nov. 14, at UD Arena. A time has not yet been announced.

The Bearcats have not played in Dayton since Dec. 4, 2004, when the Bob Huggins' Bearcats defeated the Flyers 65-55. Armein Kirkland was UC's top scorer with 23 points.

The teams didn't play for 13 years, then the rivalry was rekindled at Heritage Bank Center as a neutral-site game. In 2023, the Flyers, coached by Anthony Grant, defeated the Wes Miller-coached Bearcats 82-68. UC then won downtown, 66-59 in 2024 when UC was ranked No. 19 and the Flyers were No. 22. Last Nov. 11, the Bearcats beat Dayton 74-62 at Fifth Third Arena as the Flyers returned to UC's campus for the first time in 15 years.
