The New York Mets are expected to place starting pitcher Christian Scott on the 15-day injured list (IL), according to a June 15 report from MLB.com's Anthony DiComo.

Scott had been scheduled to start the second game of a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. The Mets' probable starter for that game is listed as TBD, against Reds starter Brady Singer.

Scott is 2-0 with a 3.10 ERA through nine starts this season.

In 18 career MLB starts, Scott has never faced the Reds.

The Mets are scheduled to start Tobias Myers in the first game of the series against Chase Burns, and Nolan McLean in the series finale against Nick Lodolo.
