Kansas City Chiefs tight end Noah Gray spoke with reporters after practice on Saturday at Missouri Western State University. He commented on the excitement for the new season, noting the development at training camp and Patrick Mahomes's full participation with the team.
"Good. Yeah, I feel great. Yeah, I feel awesome. Great being back out here, running around with all the guys; it's beautiful weather today too." said Gray, "You guys feel that, but I feel great physically and it's being a lot of fun being back out here with the guys."
Last season, Gray started 6 of the 16 games he played, continuing his role as a versatile offensive force his quarterback can count on each week. He is looking forward to seeing Mahomes under center all season as the star quarterback continues to recover from his devastating injury last year.
"We want everybody on this team to be out there and playing alongside us, so we love that Pat (Mahomes) is out there and he's playing in full, and it's been a lot of fun." said Gray, "Obviously, he's a great quarterback, and we love playing alongside him, so I'm just so grateful that he is, but we want everyone to be out here playing alongside us, and that's just the reality of it."
During the 2025 season, Gray finished with 21 catches for 178 yards in 16 games. He was targeted 37 times and put up 8.5 yards per contest.
