The 2026 NFL Draft is only a week away as the Kansas City Chiefs continue to weigh their many options with two first-round picks.
During an appearance on the 'Up and Adams Show' with Kay Adams, Missouri wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. revealed his stunned reaction to meeting Chiefs head coach Andy Reid at their recent pro day.
"It was a local pro day, but it was amazing. It was amazing just stepping on where, like, my campus was, stepping into the facility, and just talking to Andy Reid, Coach Reed," said Coleman, "When I walked up to coach Reid, I introduced myself. It kind of shocked me when he told me, like, Hey, I already know you are. And I'm like, Dang, this legend. Just know who I am. Just one step closer. So just keep working."
Coleman was one of the 37 players in attendance at the Chiefs' recent annual Local Pro Day, each showcasing their abilities in front of the front-office brass and coaching staff.
"He was right there, but just seeing him, because I was just there watching local pro day," said Coleman, "So because I've been doing anything, so I'm just watching coach up the quarterbacks, sit back and watch the guys. I don't even know how to describe him. It was just like a wow moment for me."
The former Tigers standout confirmed his excitement for the possibility of playing for the Chiefs as draft night quickly approaches.
