I hope he is working his butt off this offseason. I hope he is traded to KC. He starts the season as the backup, Holmes gets hurt again. What do they do, give the ball to Jones? He has a bad game. Now they give the ball to Jones? He has a couple of average games. They give the ball to Jones, he has a couple of good games. They give the ball to Jones, he has some great games.

They give the ball to Jones.

Well we already tried that formula, and he wasn't exactly impressive. What many people miss, is that Jones has horrible run vision, and Shipp's success made that painfully apparent.

Shipp is slower, but he played faster because he has better natural running skills.

Jones will never have natural good running skills thats for sure.
Cause that is impossible. A skill is a practiced and learned ability.
Something that you cant be born with, so I guess is not natural.

Jones has no talent, no vision. Tell ya the truth, I dont think Jones was able to use his vision to many times. Every other time he got the ball he was met in the backfield by a blitz.

The Cards have a huge line. How can anyone say they have a good line? Its not a fact that they are. Its unproven, just like Thomas Jones.

So were gonna talk about how good the line is, and how bad Jones is. When there are no facts.

Chiefs: Cardinals reject trade offer for Jones

The News
Chiefs general manager Carl Peterson acknowledged that a trade offer has been made—and rejected—for Arizona running back Thomas Jones. But Peterson told the KC Star that the trade could still happen, saying, "They might listen to another scenario. We'll continue to talk with them. Maybe something happens, and maybe it doesn't. For the right value, they would say goodbye to him. We're continuing to talk about it. It could possibly come down to a draft-day decision.”

Our View
The Chiefs are getting increasingly desperate for a qualified backup for injured starter Priest Holmes. They have interviewed Olandis Gary and Shawn Bryson, but seen both of those free agents sign elsewhere. They have even considered taking Donnell Bennett out of retirement. If the Chiefs can’t find a decent back in the draft, we expect the trade to be consummated.

As I said before, the Chiefs lost leverage with Gary signed with Buffalo. I think the Cardinals are trying to milk a better deal which is smart on their part. Donnell Bennett was not considered as a backup RB, he was considered as a backup FB to Tony Richardson.
