The offseason continues to produce special moments for Kansas City Chiefs players and staff. The latest involves star center Creed Humphrey giving back more to the kingdom that also includes the animal kingdom.
The Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina, Kansas, announced recently that it named a baby rhinoceros Creed after the Chiefs' All-Pro center.
"When I was approached with the idea of Rolling Hills Zoo naming a new rhino calf after me, it seemed to be such a unique and amazing opportunity," said Humphrey in the press release. "With white rhinos being an endangered species, to be able to visit and interact with Creed the rhino was incredible. I urge everyone to visit Rolling Hills Zoo because of their efforts in conservation and how interactive the entire zoo is."
Humphrey was named a Pro Bowler and a first-team All-Pro again in 2025, earning a nomination for the inaugural Protector of the Year award at NFL Honors.
The 26-year-old second-round pick in 2021, Humphrey, has made four consecutive Pro Bowls and won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs. He can now add a new accolade that many players can't compare to in their careers.
