The Chicago Bulls added a pair of rookie talents to their young core this offseason by drafting Caleb Wilson with the No. 4 overall pick and Dailyn Swain with the No. 15 selection.

However, the rebuild is far from complete. Chicago could have several top-end athletes if they are developed properly, but the franchise needs to be able to find complementary gems in the second round and undrafted free agency in order to truly create a well-rounded team.

The Bulls will hope their latest finds are more than just one-and-dones with the team and can leave a long-lasting impact. On Friday night, Chicago announced it had signed forward Tobe Awaka and guard Jaylin Sellers to two-way contracts.

Both Awaka and Sellers were not selected in last month's NBA Draft despite having distinguished collegiate careers. Their two-way contracts give them the ability to play up to 50 NBA games for the Chicago Bulls while also developing with the G League's Windy City Bulls. Each NBA team is allotted three such contracts, and Bryson Graham is likely saving his final one for a player who performs well in Summer League.

Two of the Bulls' two-way players from 2025-26 — Yuki Kawamura (Pacers) and Lachlan Olbrich (Warriors) — have already found new homes ahead of Summer League. Only Mac McClung remains unsigned.

Awaka, 22, is 6-foot-8 and 250 pounds. The New York native spent two years coming off the bench at Tennessee before transferring to Arizona in 2024-25. Awaka returned to the bench as a senior and responded with his best campaign yet, earning Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year honors.

This past season, Awaka led the Big 12 in rebounding, averaging 9.3 points and 9.1 boards per game for the Wildcats. He made 58.7% of his shots and connected on five of his 12 attempts from beyond the arc.

Sellers, 23, is a 6-foot-5 guard who played five seasons of college basketball between three different schools. He earned All-MAC Freshman Team and Third Team All-MAC honors during his two years at Ball State, then transferred to UCF.

Although he had a strong junior season with the Knights, Sellers battled injuries and missed all but three games in 2024-25. Sellers used his graduate season of eligibility to transfer to Providence, where he led the Big East in scoring by averaging 18.3 points per game overall and 19.6 points per game in conference play.

The fifth-year guard knocked down 47.3% of his looks from the floor and made 42.9% of his three-pointers. For his efforts, Sellers was named to the All-Big East Second Team.

Both Awaka and Sellers will compete for the Bulls in the NBA Summer League, beginning July 10.
