Chelsea ask Roma about Wesley, Giallorossi say ‘no’

The Atalanta-owned full-back is one of the most sought-after players by European clubs, and although the former Cagliari player has been very close to joining Inter in recent weeks,
Chelsea’s late arrival may have complicated the deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s WhatsApp account, however, the Blues have inquired with Roma about Wesley, considered an alternative to the 2005-born Italian.
The Giallorossi and Gian Piero Gasperini firmly rejected the offer, considering the Brazilian a key player in their coaching project.
