Pellegrini closer than ever to new Roma deal: Giallorossi captain to pen one-year contract
While awaiting the arrival of the infamous winger, Gian Piero Gasperini can breathe a sigh of relief and will soon be able to welcome Lorenzo Pellegrini back into the fold.
The former captain, after being released at the beginning of July, is close to reuniting with his teammates.
According to Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio, the midfielder’s contract renewal is indeed very close.
The parties are very close to a full agreement, and the former Sassuolo player’s permanent stay at Trigoria is expected to be announced soon with the new contract’s duration being set until 2027.
While awaiting the arrival of a winger, Roma will be able to count on Lorenzo Pellegrini. This will be the No. 7’s eleventh season with the Giallorossi.
