Chelsea are back at Cobham and are getting ready for the new season, now just a couple of weeks away.

One priority for the Blues is sorting out loan moves for youngsters and fringe players, and there are still 10-15 of them to go. It’s going to be a very busy fortnight. The good news is that one very important deal looks to be getting closer.

Landon Emenalo is one of the brightest talents in the academy, and one who made yet another great impression when he shone in the game against Western Sydney Wanderers on tour.

He’s ready for his first loan move, but it’s got to be chosen carefully. We want him at the highest level possible, but also playing every week. It seems like the club have settled on Celtic – rumours from Sky Sports today say Emenalo has been in Scotland checking out the facilities at Lennoxtown and Celtic Park, and the left back looks to have a role cut out for him in their first team.

Trevoh Chalobah has left Chelsea, and his comments earlier today were the first time we’ve heard him speak since leaving the club where he spent 20 years.

Enzo Fernandez is pushing to leave Chelsea, and the club have already identified two players who would replace him.
