Chandler Bing, a late commit 2025 wing from Atlanta, committed to Vanderbilt basketball on April 29.
Bing is a 6-foot-6, 190-pounder. He does not have a rating on 247Sports. Other offers included Georgia State, Texas State and Troy. He attends Pace Academy, the same school as current Vanderbilt baseball player RJ Austin.
Bing joins a signing class that also includes guard Jaylon Dean-Vines and center Jayden Leverett.
Between the three freshmen, five returners from 2024-25 and six incoming transfers, Mark Byington has one more spot on the 2025-26 roster for an incoming transfer. The scholarship limit is increasing from 13 to 15 this upcoming season.
Key returners for the upcoming season include Devin McGlockton, Tyler Nickel and Tyler Tanner as well as walk-ons Coleson Messer and Miles Keeffe. In the transfer portal, Vanderbilt has added TCU guard Frankie Collins, Cornell wing AK Okereke, NC State wing Mike James, Washington wing Tyler Harris, Jacksonville State center Mason Nicholson and North Carolina center Jalen Washington.
