Former Washington wing Tyler Harris committed to Vanderbilt basketball in the transfer portal, he announced on Instagram April 27.
The 6-foot-8 Harris in 2024-25 shot 49.2% from the field and 49.5% from three and also averaged five rebounds and one block per game.
Harris is the sixth overall transfer for Mark Byington's program this offseason and the third perimeter player after Mike James and AK Okereke. The Commodores also added point guard Frankie Collins and bigs Jalen Washington and Mason Nicholson.
Vanderbilt returns just three scholarship players from the 2024-25 team, but those players include two starters in Devin McGlockton and Tyler Nickel, as well as key reserve Tyler Tanner. The Commodores also bring in two freshmen, Jaylon Dean-Vines and Jayden Leverett.
