Celts aiming to sign off league campaign with a win over Partick Thistle

Celtic will complete their SPWPL campaign this Sunday when they play host to Partick Thistle at new Douglas Park (KO: 1.10pm).

And despite a disappointing end to the league season, with the Hoops lying fifth in the table there is a determination to sign off with a win, not least because it will provide a boost against of the Scottish Cup final against Rangers on May 31.

Celtic face a Partick Thistle side they beat 3-2 in their last meeting, although it took a Kelly Clark goal in added time to win the game.

So nothing is being taken for granted this weekend, while the focus for the players is only on this game rather than looking ahead to the Hampden showdown.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, Celtic TV spoke to assistant manager, David Haley and defender Hannah Luke to get their thoughts on this weekend’s match against Partick Thistle.
