Giannis Antetokounmpo figures to be the biggest star moved this summer in the NBA, and the Boston Celtics have been linked to him in rumors.

The Celtics tried trading for Antetokounmpo before the trade deadline this season, according to NBA insider Shams Charania, and it would make sense for them to pursue him again. However, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer, the Celtics are not one of the two teams "actively pursuing" him right now.

"At this point, the only two teams that I’ve really heard are actively pursuing Giannis with deals and some type of framework that the Bucks are at least entertaining, are Miami with Ware, Herro, future draft capital, other draft prospects," Fischer said on a Bleacher Report livestream on Wednesday. "Then Portland, where the Blazers still own all of Milwaukee's draft capital by way of the Damian Lillard trade originally. Portland and Miami are the two teams I keep hearing are in active tangible pursuit of Giannis.”

There could be interest from the Celtics side in Antetokounmpo, but according to Fischer, they are not a team that has been pursuing him with offers to the Bucks. Antetokounmpo reportedly has the Miami Heat atop his wishlist, so it may be tough for any team to get him if that's where he wants to go.

The Bucks have noted a desire to get a deal done before the NBA Draft, so the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes may not drag out too long. Any team that wants him will have to give up a haul. The Celtics have Jaylen Brown as an asset they could deal to the Bucks. They could then flip him for more picks.
