Celtic manager Martin O’Neill is a keen admirer of Motherwell striker Tawanda Maswanhise, according to Sky Sports. Celtic could look to bring another striker to Parkhead this summer having not made a decision on the future of Kelechi Iheanacho despite his heroics for the Bhoys in the Scottish Premiership last term. The Hoops have yet to make any move for Maswanhise, but the Motherwell star is attracting interest from clubs around Europe.
Anderlecht are long-term admirers of the Zimbabwean international and they continue to monitor. However, remaining in Scotland, joining Celtic and winning the league title could appeal to Maswanhise. The 23-year-old has proven himself in the Premiership and joining the Hoops could be beneficial to both parties. Celtic need such a player as they look to retain the title and win both the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup next term.
He could also be of use in the Champions League but it remains to be seen if they have plans to make any concrete approach.
