Real Madrid and Ajax are very close to finalizing a deal for Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos, who appears to be set to join the Eredivisie giants for a €6 million transfer, according to a report from MARCA which was later echoed on AS.
Ajax’s new coach Míchel is very keen on signing Ceballos, so the deal makes sense for all parts involved. The Dutch team will offer the Spanish midfielder a significant salary, which was the main obstacle preventing his departure from Real Madrid during the last few transfer windows.
It has been a rough season for Ceballos, who could benefit from leaving Real Madrid once and for all. The Spanish midfielder could play a relevant role for Ajax, so this deal seems perfect for him.
