We signed another player who is fighting to stay in the league. Why? Someone tell me why? Is he a player we can develop and in two or three years he can become a starter? I would rather have a UDFA. At least there might be some hope he might develop into a starter. This whole offseason makes no sense.

Dudes fighting to stay in the league are exactly who you want, when you don't want the tank to look obvious. These guys are going to be coachable and put in maximum effort, to hopefully show something on tape to their next team(s). The overall lack of talent will be sufficient to increase the loss total, though.
