Even the Chargers fansites have them taking OL.
The Chargers enter the 2024 draft with nine draft picks, but could easily add more following rumors of a trade down.

Chargers definitely need OL, no doubt.
I don't think they need to take OL at 5. They can most likely take OL in round 2. Someone like Rosengarten would be a fine RT for them at #36, or Blake Fisher in the 3rd.
I think I'd be surprised to see them take Alt and switch him to RT at #5 considering the gaping holes they have at WR and that Slater is entrenched at LT for many more years.
And as Dvontel said if all else fails they have Trey Pipkins who's an ok player, although I disagree he's better than Jonah Williams. When Slater went down in 2022 Jamaree Salyer played LT and looked very good. They moved him to RG last year but he was much better at tackle. Personally I'd put Salyer at RT going forward, he was a tackle at Georgia after all.
In fact, I think that might be their plan. They already have Corey Lindsey at starting C but signed Bradley Bozeman in FA. Bozeman was the Panthers C but he was a Left Guard at the Ravens. They have Zion Johnson at LG so would make sense for Bozeman to go to RG and Salyer to RT.
Chargers only have 4 receivers on the roster and 2 of them have 100 yards combined in 4 total seasons.
