The road to being competitive this year was so incredibly narrow - this team lacks the top end talent, let alone really good building pieces after 3 years of laughably bad FA/draft. Realizing that and trying to tank for a QB kind of makes sense, but WHY MONTI? The guy that just...created this mess?!?

Makes me wonder if Cards will try and move back up in the 1st round should Ty Simpson fall enough. They may just join the "March for Arch" next season. I don't think the later is the strategy though. We'll have to see how the QB spot plays out. Beck, Nussimeier, and Allar are solid later round picks to consider. I would hold firm and not trade back up.
