Brown started due to an injury to Oliver Ross. Keith didn't start until his third season in the NFL, and Sendlein I think was only a starter due to injury.

I do not this this this is the case.

Regardless, hopefully this is the end of people referencing PFF's OL "metrics" to gauge Offensive linemen. For two years before he came to the Cards, Hadnot graded out as one of the top 5 linemen in the NFL in PFF's rankings. Started for one season and was completely non descript.

Sendlein started the last two games of 2007 after Al Johnson was injured. Hasn't missed a start since. Though he did miss a snap because he was bleeding all over the football.

Kind of odd that you would release your starting right tackle. Guess Russ isn't too good at developing guards either.

I still believe the sooner Russ Grimm is no longer the Oline coach the sooner the Oline becomes a better line. I believe he is still teaching 1980s methods for blocking 2010s defenses. He lives in the past and has not kept up with today's game.

Somers, Urban, and Jurecki are all convinced Feeley is coming back.

As for Hadnot, I liked him for depth and feel this is a cap casualty more than anything.

From the looks of it, the Cards are preparing to draft at least two linemen this season.

I like Feeley and do hope he comes back. It is really amazing how many games are decided by field goal kickers. I would like to see just how many are decided by a FG?

I'm with you John. Clutch is better than Long.

It's hard to say if Brown would've been a starter as a rookie, yes Ross got hurt and was the starter at the time but it was Week 1 of the preseason. Sendlien only started due to an injury to Al Johnson at the end of 2007.
