Saw the news and came here to see what the local reporters were saying. Glad to see we're denying it. Why trade a 29 year old All Pro that you can afford? I get we're in rebuild, but rebuilds take 2 years, 3 tops in the NFL especially when we have cap space. Heck with all our cap space and a top draft pick our rebuild could take one year. Then we'll all be looking around thinking how hard it is to find shut down corners.

When Whiz was struggling these rumors did not exist Neither with BA. Wonder if there is a disconnect between Keim and Wilks as Wilks is rumored not to be Keim's choice.

If push comes to shove, Hope Bidwill chooses Keim over Wilks if only one could stay.

we all love us some PP21...but the dude is staring at 30...granted it dont hit corners as hard as RB's,...and the greats seem to continue playing well beyond...but he is staring 30 right in the face...which by the numbers usually means a decline in play is coming in the next couple of seasons...
we could move him to safety...Lott did it,..woodson did it,...woodson did it again...

but if some team wants to give us a pair of #1's??? why not consider it?
what about 2 #1's and 2 #2's??

one could argue if we came out of next springs draft with Nick Bosa and Greedy Williams....with an extra 2,...followed by an extra 1 and 2 in 2020....we are in a much better position to make this team great.


keim had mentioned anyone is tradeable with a herschel walker type deal and thats probably what they would be talking about to get a guy like PP21.... lots of picks

of course...maybe these rumors drifted out as a means to motivate PP21 to play more physical...wilks has always preferred physical play
