Cards drafting Leftwich??

I heard yesterday on the Kdus audio stream, Rod Graves talking about why he liked Jeff Blake, he said something like "When I asked Blake how would you feel about us taking a QB high, Blake replied you could take him, but you will not want to give my starting job away, after you can see what I do". Something to that extent. Then the big hang up with Stewart was he didn't want to sign with a team that was planning on taking a QB high and it looked like the Cards were Stewarts best option and the Cards offered Stewart the most money. I just think all this points to the Cards taking Leftwich with there first pick, I would prefer Suggs but I don't mind Leftwich being the pick.

I heard that same quote. I like that attitude.

If we sign a few more defenders, I would be elated with Leftwich being drafted. He could sit on the bench like Pennington did and really learn the game.
