Cards camp last week..my early reviews
I have been going since the first season Buddy Ball came to town and I always get a real good idea of how the season will go barring injuries.
MY review was before Q got hurt, just didnt get a chance to post or read forums in a week(shame)(lol). Anyways I was the one whom gave the insight to Q last year.
With that being said"I will go the opposite direction this year."

I saw some unbelievable glaring weakness this year!

L.Davis playing tackle
the existence of W.Bryant still on this team is a joke.(making his money)

Josh is the worst QB since we had Jay Schroeder. He danced around the pocket scared ..when he scrambled under pressure he was wild. Bottom line he still hasnt learned to look of WRs. He is far worse than Jake about staying locked on too long .
I could go on but most will find out real soon his lack of quality when under pressure.

D.Starks seems tentative at times and seems to be just looking for that big play. Good to see him out there compared to what we to put in instead.

Emmitt smith better never get his swing pass out of the backfield(like in Dallas) he looked like father time! The backups ran hard would give the slight edge to Andersen.

Wr. hmmm no Q well this is gonna hurt cause fitz isnt ready .....YET ....maybe soon but not yet. maybe natural talent will take him through early. but I would start Gilmore and Kasper

F.jones will only be productive at short short yardage plays

the oline IS a liability or our defensive line is studs.

Linebacker seems to be solid

Safeties were doing fine

bottom line : DG sold us that JOSH and EMmitt are the real deal.... They are the real deal to get us back to 4-12. good thing SF is horrible this year.
Josh will be limited short passes but if he continues to lead the wr over the middle a real DEF is gonna kill our WRs.

alot of BABBLE and I will go back up next week! Really didnt like Josh but Iam sure DG has his best gameplan for Minnesota or he will have a long preseason if Josh gets those happy feet

Thanks, but I sure hope you're wrong. I just can't believe that DG could be so wrong about Josh. After all, he could have had Eli Manning in a trade with the Chargers. I admit I'm not sold on Big at LT and am looking forward to tonight's game.

I'll secong this motion...I really hope your wrong...I don't expect a whole lot of wins this year but I was counting on seeing some solid improvement and a bulilding of a foundation with Josh being the center of that foundation...I really hope your wrong...but I wasn't at camp...

I read this and I am become increasing worried about our season. I have gone from being sure we can at the very least improve on last season, to wondering if we are shooting ourselves in the foot at every opportunity. :(

They are showing the Pats game over here... I hope we play well or we'll never been shown here again. (the TV network don't like the Cards much)

I doubt the Mannings would have been any happier dealing with Graves/Bidwills than they were about potentially dealing with the Chargers.

Although, after seeing Fitz's deal maybe not...

This is

one person's take. People settle down.
There are other people who went up there and saw things from a completely different perspective.
The thing I do agree with is Big should moved to Guard and L.J. back to L.T.
The other night on ESPN, yes ESPN, Salisbury a
AND Jackson said to expect the Cards to be competitive AND get their wins.
After years of them dissin us, and being correct, I'm going with them on this.
I thought McCown was scrambling, but, controlled.
Losing Q hurts, but we have competent receivers. Jones will be a much bigger factor, from what I saw, than is being alluded to here.
The three behind Smith, will be competitve, if the O line does their job.
I said it a long time ago, our D is going to suprise alot of people this year.

Guys, MOC has this vendetta against McCown. Take most of his comments with a LARGE grain of salt.
