It was with a backup QB against a below average team. This was the team with its “transcendent QB”, tied for the best record in the league GETTING KILLED by the team with the worst record in the league, missing it’s top three offensive players, with a chance to clinch a playoff birth on the line.

The two aren’t comparable.
Krang doesn't care. He needs to defend Kyler at all costs.

I am wondering why Simmons had not made a similar impact as Parsons. Is it more on the player or the Coach?

Simmons and Parsons are basically identical person measurement and athleticism wise (all data is from nflcombineresults.com):
6'3 5/8", 238 lbs, 33 3/8" arm, 9 5/8" hands, 4.39 40-yard, 2.58 20-yard, 1.55 10-yard, 39" vertical, 11'0" broad jump (Simmons) vs
6'3 1/8", 246 lbs, 31 1/2" arm, 11" hands, 4.36 40-yard, 2.58 20-yard, 1.59 10-yard, 34" vertical, 10'6" broad jump (Parsons).

Both won multiple awards for their performance in college. Simmons was put in a much bigger stage and has seen more adversities (4 straight years appearance in the NCAA national championship games and won two times).

If Murray isn't running the ball, the Cardinals struggled on offense. Don't want Kliff to be calling runs for Murray, but they can't win with Murray as pocket passer.

Simmons is softer than Parsons in the trenches but much better than him in coverage.

Generally yes. Why does Kyler need to have full OL to beat Lions. What does it say about him?
Good point. I think he isn't patient enough when the defense plays 2-high. And when he does sit back, the pass rush is on him in a split second.

2-high calls for a ton of check downs but you can't play man against K1 too often so he sees a ton of zone and gets impatient.

Not even sure if the latter is even true.
It's very true. Very.

But in the end, Parsons is making the splash plays and IS isn't. Wonder how the game turns if IS catches that INT in Q1

If it’s not a 9 route, he’s always behind the RB/WR/TE. He doesn’t have the fluidity to stick with opponents on crossing routes.

at this point not, but I'm 100% sure that Vance Joseph was a bad hiring. Many thought so at the beginning and I still stand to that believe. Vance Joseph isn't a good HC or DC. His Schemes are to difficult tu grasp to be able to play against a modern O. And bend don't break doesn't work if your people play slow and give up big plays because of it.

We got hit by that early on in the season but Kyler had gread games and so on. Today Kyler had an awful game and D didn't help really. giving up 30 points to the Lions ... is worst D of the NFL stuff.

At this moment, I am not even sure Murray running is an effective offense option anymore. So many QB draw runs resulted in negative yards this year. Our first drive today started with Murray running sideline, with negative yards. The opposing defense now knows how he likes to run and takes them away. He looks like running in the mud this year unless the opposing defense overpursues him and shows him the clear running lanes.

Another late season collapse is staring team right in face again. Not sure what is going on with K1 but Saturday might be the biggest game of his football life. Got a huge monkey on his back along with K2 that is only going to get worse.
