Cardinals injury report: Marvin Harrison Jr. out again

The Arizona Cardinals concluded their practice week Friday in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans and released their final injury report of the week.

The injury report listed a whopping 19 players, 13 of whom have injuries. Seven are declared out plus left guard Evan Brown, who is dealing with a family matter. Four are starters: Brown, left tackle Paris Johnson Jr., wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and safety Jalen Thompson.

Rookie safety Kitan Crawford will likely play a lot of snaps with Thompson and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson out.

Tight end Elijah Higgins was added to the report Friday with an illness, did not practice and is questionable.

The most players usually inactive for games is seven, but the Cardinals will have at least eight. In the 2022 season finale against the San Francisco 49ers, the Cardinals had so many injuries, nine players were inactive for the game and were two players short.

Meanwhile, the Texans have no players declared out and they list four as questionable.

The full details of the final injury report are below. After each player’s injury, there is the daily status, which is either no status (NS), did not practice (DNP), limited (LIM) or Full. Starters are noted with an asterisk.

Demercado, limited each day in practice, has a chance to be active for the game.

Demontrey Jacobs is the backup tackle on the 53-man roster, so it’s possible Jones could be activated from injured reserve Saturday. Hayden Conner, mostly an interior lineman, could play tackle if needed.
