Ahhhh. My annual opportunity to make a complete fool of myself. I'll load up my 30 handicap and give it a try once again!

I hit seven houses last time I went out.

Hit them HARD. Some were a street over.

Have you seen the commercial where the dude keeps hitting people on the golf course? He is saying FORE, but has a sore throat so they can't hear him. I don't remember what it is advertising, but I thought it was hilarious.

That brings up another question. Why do we laugh when we see pain inflicted on people? For instance, when the TV shows someone getting smoked by a golfball, why do I laugh? Am I the only one?

No. Sometimes taking a good digger is just what the funny bone needs.

Have you seen the Miller Lite commercial where the guy keeps getting hit with stuff as he walks out of his front door? First, he closes his door and he gets nailed in the head by some siding from his house. On the next day, he opens the door and his neighbor promptly whips out his driver and tees off into the poor guys "male room." He also gets hit by a piano and gets struck by lightning.

A classic commerical in my opinion.
