The offense looks solid no matter who is under center. Last year, when K1 went down, the offense instantly got better with Brisket. Really curious to see what Kyler can do in Minnesota, he will have NO excuses there. As for the Cards defense, the fact that Cody Simon is starting tells you how f'd they are. And Sweat had best have a monster year cuz the DL looks like league-worst without him. NO pressure for the most part.

The weakest part of the entire team are the LBs. They had Jack Gibbens out there basically as a starter. Who?

neither offense will look this good once everything matters - these defenses are brought to you by o'doul's - not even near beer

the one on one battles is what we're watching - the d-robs - burkes and meltons - we're learning billings is as big as a building but slower than a building

we're not seeing any blitzing schemes designed to force mistakes - just one in one's all over which favor the offense

but i still think our offense is going to be really good

Every offense is going to look good against our defense. The defense is "near beer"? It's not like either offense we have played is using anything close to it's whole playbook or a game plan specific to the defense.

Well that and if Petzing's Lions light it up.

If he cant make it with KOC he's a career backup.

It's so hard to evaluate a defense as a whole in pre season games. Guys like Elliot Brown and Eku Leota were out there together at OLB and they probably won't make the team. In fact they looked terrible out there. A couple of weak links on D and an offense can take advantage.

I prefer to look at the one on ones in preseason.
