Do the Kansas City Chiefs have enough talent on their roster to win the AFC West over the Denver Broncos in 2026?

In the passing game, Patrick Mahomes will be the Chiefs' biggest advantage over the Broncos for next season, especially if the former Texas Tech Red Raider returns to MVP form in 2026. The arrival of Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III in free agency will also give Kansas City an additional edge on offense.

During his outstanding 2025 campaign with the Seattle Seahawks, Walker gained 277 more yards than the Broncos’ leading rusher.

Mahomes and Walker will team up with legendary tight end Travis Kelce to give the Chiefs a clear offensive advantage over Denver, which is expected to be led by star quarterback Bo Nix and newly acquired wide receiver Jaylen Waddle.

With two matchups between Kansas City and Denver on the horizon, fans should expect the Chiefs to fare better against the Broncos in 2026 than they did last season.
