Mali will compete in Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), alongside Morocco, Zambia, and Comoros.

The Eagles seem well-equipped to go far in this 35th edition of Africa's premier tournament.

Overview​

Mali has participated 13 times in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Their best performance came in 1972, finishing runners-up behind Congo after losing the final 2-3.
