The Los Angeles Dodgers set their lineup for the first of a four-game series on the road against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Dodgers took a series win against the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday, taking a convincing 9-1 win against last season’s NLDS opponents. LA hit three homers in the game, one of which Ryan Ward hit out for his first MLB jack.

Emmet Sheehan is starting for the Dodgers on Monday, and will look to post another strong outing after a solid performance against the Colorado Rockies last week. Sheehan pitched six innings last time out, allowing two runs while striking out eight batters.

On the season, Sheehan has a 4.70 ERA through 51.2 innings pitched, and has struck out 59 batters so far in 2026.

The Dodgers are running a mostly unchanged lineup for their game against the Diamondbacks, as the first five batters of their order are the same as Sunday’s win.

Shohei Ohtani will lead off as the designated hitter, just as he always does, and center fielder Andy Pages gets another run at the No. 2 spot. First baseman Freddie Freeman, shortstop Mookie Betts and right fielder Kyle Tucker all make up the heart of the lineup, and catcher Will Smith returns to the lineup to bat sixth after an off day on Sunday.

Max Muncy drops a spot against a lefty and will play third base, and Miguel Rojas comes in to play second base while batting eighth. Left fielder Alex Call also comes back into the lineup after

Who is Starting for the Diamondbacks?

The Dodgers will face left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez in the first game of the series, and will look to be more effective against him this time around. LA faced him in the first series of the season, and only scored once through five innings.

He has had a solid season altogether, posting a 2.31 ERA through 66.1 innings pitched so far this year. He hasn’t been perfect as of late, allowing multiple runs in two of his last three outings, so the Dodgers will hope to get to him and do some damage early.
