Caleb Wilson didn’t put on a scoring show but had a strong finish in his second NBA Summer League game with the Chicago Bulls.

The No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft by the Bulls, Wilson had 19 points on 8 of 17 shooting and was 0 of 6 at the free-throw line in Chicago’s 80-63 loss to Utah on Monday, July 13, at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

After scoring 35 points in his summer league debut, including seven 3-pointers in his first competitive game since Feb. 10 at UNC, the former Tar Heel struggled to carry that offensive momentum into his second game in Vegas. He was 3 of 8 from the 3-point line and had four turnovers, but closed with a bang by scoring 12 fourth-quarter points.

With the NBA’s one free-throw attempt rule for summer league, Wilson left 14 points at the stripe. Former UNC coach Hubert Davis was in attendance for Wilson’s second summer league game.

Wilson didn’t get to face No. 2 overall pick Darryn Peterson, but the two played each other when UNC earned a win against Kansas at the Smith Center last season. Wilson had 24 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals against the Jayhawks.
