Caitlin Clark had just finished making her own pitch for LeBron James when the actual news broke. The Indiana Fever star was speaking to reporters ahead of WNBA All-Star weekend Friday in Chicago when word came down that James had joined the Philadelphia 76ers – moments after Clark had jokingly lobbied for him to join her own Indiana Pacers. “No way! I just pitched him for the Pacers -- it didn’t get to him fast enough,” Clark said during her media availability. “The 76ers? Wow, wow.”
