Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark left her most recent game due to an injury and head coach Stephanie White recently provided an update on her return.

Clark, who exited Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Mercury with a back injury, will not play on Saturday against the Los Angeles Sparks. Following the game on June 27, which Clark will miss, the Fever do not play again until July 5 due to a pre-scheduled hiatus for the WNBA Commissioner's Cup championship.

According to White, there is "no indication" how much time Clark is expected to miss with this injury.

Stephanie White on Caitlin Clark (back):

"She's doing alright... no indication (on how long she's out). It's a good time because we have all week next week, so we'll take this opportunity to get her treatment."

Clark also missed time earlier this season due to a back injury in May.

She missed significant time last season due to a groin injury and bone bruise.

During the game on Wednesday, the former No. 1 overall pick fell after a hard closeout. She also received contact against her neck, which led to a suspension for Phoenix's Alyssa Thomas.
