The start of the WNBA season is now just less than three weeks away, which is why the excitement among fans has been building up significantly.
A lot of supporters have their eyes on Caitlin Clark as she looks to take the Indiana Fever to new heights following an incredible rookie campaign.
There's no denying, however, that Clark's rise to fame also has some inherent drawbacks. This includes a sharp rise in ticket prices for games. On top of that, the high demand has made it extra difficult to secure these tickets.
This has been the case for a number of Fever season ticket holders, who have faced issues with the significant increase in prices.
"I logged in to see what my season ticket will cost and it’s $428. That was quick pass for me," a comment on the Fever's Reddit community read.
"Prices were painful," another said.
It is worth noting that Indiana will also host the WNBA All-Star Game in July, and tickets went on sale on Monday. Fans on social media shared their concerns amid the massive queue for online ticket purchases.
"this was presale mind you," pointed out a user.
"I don’t stand a chance " commented another.
"same type of insanity
" a reaction read.
"Trying to get these WNBA All Star tickets is about to piss me off. I’ve been to the last 6 All Stars in other cities and it finally comes to Indianapolis and it’s overpriced & damn near not accessible," complained another.

To be fair, it's not as if Clark sent out a directive to increase the ticket prices for the upcoming season. She hasn't told anyone to queue for hours for a chance to purchase a ticket for the WNBA All-Star Game in Gainbridge Fieldhouse either.
However, there's no denying that Clark's unprecedented success has a lot to do with the equally unparalleled clamor from the fans.
