The second chapter of the Caitlin Clark era in the WNBA will soon commence.

Clark established herself as a superstar in her rookie season with the Indiana Fever and will now lead a championship-hopeful team into year two.

However, before the season begins, Clark was involved in a major news headline that featured a six-figure price tag.

According to Goldin, a collectable card trading company, Clark's edition of the 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Throwback Signatures Golden Vinyl cards has been officially sold.

The final price tag for the sale of the 2024 Prizm WNBA collectible: $244,000.

Clark has been a star ever since she stepped floor on the Iowa Hawkeyes court at the collegiate level. During her time with the Hawkeyes, Clark etched her name into the history books.

She became the NCAA's all-time leading scorer in both men's and women's basketball, posting 3,951 points in her four-year career with the Hawkeyes.

During her senior season at Iowa, Clark averaged 31.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.

In her four-year career, Clark recorded 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.

During her rookie season with the Indiana Fever, Clark posted 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.

Clark led the WNBA in average assists, ending her first year in the league as the WNBA Rookie of the Year while being named a WNBA All-Star. She was joined on the WNBA All-Star roster by teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell.
