Caitlin Clark’s ‘brain isn’t fully formed’ says analyst after Fever star’s take on trans athletes

Caitlin Clark’s WNBA take on trans athletes has become a major topic of discussion.

Since the arrival of Caitlin Clark, the WNBA has seen insane growth in popularity, which has brought additional revenue to the league.

However, with its increased popularity, the WNBA has faced a plethora of controversies, including the debate of whether trans athletes should be allowed to play in the W or not.

Clark’s Indiana Fever teammate, Sophie Cunningham, is against the notion as she wants things to stay as they are. Clark, on the other hand, offered no clear stance on the same.

Dan Dakich sounds off on Caitlin Clark’s take on trans athletes’ WNBA participation​

When Clark was asked her thoughts on the topic, she refrained from giving a clear opinion, as the Fever star wants this to be left to the league’s governing body.

Upon hearing the 24-year-old’s answer, analyst Dan Dakich went ballistic on her and claimed her brain is still under development.

“Caitlin Clark, you can tell her brain isn’t fully formed. I’ll also say Caitlin Clark makes a lot of money, has a lot of fans with that whole shtick that I’m just a little girl from Iowa that wants to play basketball.

“… But she refuses to stand up for little girls from Iowa,” Dakich began.

He added, “What if a bunch of former NBA dudes came into the WNBA ’cause they felt like a woman? And she didn’t get the opportunity. ‘Cause that’s what you’re facing.”


While Clark’s no-stance didn’t sit well with her critics, she simply wants to focus on playing basketball as the Fever recently snapped their five-game winning streak following a 108-100 defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Lynx.

After all, as a WNBA star, Clark’s biggest responsibility is to help her team win games and ultimately the championship.
