At the very end of this winter transfer window, several clubs—including Oviedo, Alavés, Mallorca, Genoa, and teams from Saudi Arabia—expressed interest in Cédric Bakambu, the 34-year-old striker from DR Congo.
Despite this interest, the player has chosen not to leave Real Betis and will remain until the end of his contract, which runs until June 30, 2026. This season, Bakambu has scored 1 goal in 8 La Liga matches. With 66 caps and 21 goals for his national team, he remains an experienced asset for the Andalusian club. His current market value is estimated at €1.4 million, and the club had considered letting him go on a free transfer if another club would cover his salary.
