Tonight the Suns get their first close-up look at the Bulls when they visit Phoenix. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. Arizona time and will be televised on FSAZ.

Here is a couple of snippets from the ESPN Preview and a link to their game article.

For the first time this year, the two had victories on the same day Friday -- the Suns beat the Lakers for the first time in three meetings and the Bulls held off Charlotte to break a five-game losing streak.

The Suns (6-11) will play host to the Bulls (3-10) in the first of two meetings between the teams in 10 days. The Bulls will host the rematch Nov. 28.

Bulls rookie forward Lauri Markkanen, who declared for the NBA Draft after one year at the University of Arizona, is averaging 14.8 points and 7.6 rebounds a game. He is fifth among rookies in scoring and second in rebounding.

Markkanen had 16 points against the Hornets, and his two free throws with 2.6 seconds remaining were the final points.

Monroe is so smooth as a scorer. He knows his abilities and limitations.

I like Ullis, but his hight and no jumpshot is limiting his potential.

Lauri is a player. Scored from the post, put in on the floor and drive and from 3 point range

Curious how Triano will use Monroe when Chandler returns. I'd like to see Bender take the starting PF spot from Chriss but wouldn't be surprised if Monroe does.

True. Although I think when he concentrates on being a distributor to get in the groove, he plays better.

I can't help but think I would be happy if Bender played this well.

Lopez is wearing the Suns out with 10 points. Did I say Robin Lopez?

Can Daniels play PG? Mike James is awful. Not sure what he was doing on the possession but he had Bender wide open and should have seen him.

I was hoping the Suns might be able to trade for Portis when he had problems with Mirotic.

I don't miss watching Lopez run the court. Not to mention his hunching defense that negates his height advantage.

I can't help but think we should of drafted him instead of Jackson

It's a legit question. I think @AzStevenCal is the only one who nailed this pick. He also wanted the Suns to trade Bledsoe as I recall. He was concerned the Suns might pay him big dollars when his contract ran out.

I believe the Suns will make a move with Len, Chandler and Monroe at center. It will be interesting to see who.

Since James is on a two-way contract it will convert to a regular contract on December 6th, since he's been on the main roster all season. That would make it a regular NBA deal and put the Suns over the roster maximum. I imagine we'll make a move before then but it'll be interesting to see what happens. His play the last 2 weeks has been a lot different than his first couple of games. I hope we don't waive anyone else to make room for him. Some people say his attitude reverted to how he was in the Summer League and if that's true he shouldn't have been signed even a Two-Way deal but he definitely shouldn't be locked in for the whole year.

Monroe and Warren are doing great Stockton/ Malone impersonation. Or Nash/ Stoudemire impersonation.
