CARL JUNCTION, MO. — Over in Carl Junction, the Joplin Eagles played the Bulldogs.

Before the game, Carl Junction boys basketball honored senior Cooper Vediz for 1,000 career points.

The Bulldogs scored first as Brody Pant rebounded a teammates’ shot for the and one.

Carl Junction scored several times on second chances against Joplin.

The Eagles immediately responded as Brecken Green made the layup, making it 3-2 in favor of Carl Junction.

Joplin forced a couple of turnovers from steals and tried scoring off of fast breaks against Carl Junction.
