The Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets are set to square off today, putting both the 2025 NFL season and Highmark Stadium to bed. The Bills are headed to the postseason for a franchise-record seventh straight season. The Jets, on the other hand, extend their league-leading postseason drought to fifteen seasons.

The Jets had already declared seven players out this week, so their inactive list held far less drama and intrigue than Buffalo’s. The Bills had declared three players out, and since they elevated a pair of players from the practice squad, that means they needed to sit four other players today.

Who’s in and who’s out for Highmark Stadium’s farewell? Here is the full list.
_____________________________________________________________________________

WR Brandin Cooks

Coming off the biggest game of his tenure with the Bills, the veteran Cooks is a healthy scratch this week. Keon Coleman is active, as is Dalton Kincaid.

T Dion Dawkins

The Bills will rest their left tackle today. Let’s see who starts the game, but Alec Anderson, Ryan Van Demark, and Tylan Grable are all active candidates.

DE Joey Bosa

With the outcome of this game meaning little, resting Buffalo’s top veteran pass-rush presence makes sense.

DE Greg Rousseau

Buffalo’s top edge rushers are both healthy scratches this week. Matt Judon, A.J. Epenesa and Javon Solomon are the only active defensive ends, but I assume that rookie defensive tackle T.J. Sanders will see some time on the edge.

DT DaQuan Jones

The veteran one-tech is out once again as he deals with a calf injury. Buffalo hopes he’ll be back for the Wild Card game. All of the team’s defensive tackles are active aside from Jones, so Deone Walker, T.J. Sanders, Larry Ogunjobi, Phidarian Mathis, and Jordan Phillips—who has been out for the last few games—are all ready to roll today.

LB Terrel Bernard

Buffalo’s defensive captain is out once again, this time due to a calf injury that he suffered late in the first half of last week’s 13-12 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. Rookie Keonta Jenkins was elevated from the practice squad today, and I expect that he’ll see some run alongside Joe Andreessen on defense as well as special teams.

S Jordan Poyer

The veteran will miss his second straight game due to a hamstring injury that he suffered against the Cleveland Browns two weeks ago. Darnell Savage is active once again.
