At least it won't say "Brady" on the back of his jersey. Buffalo Bills fans might experience PTSD seeing it on a quarterback.
Milford product Brady Olson will begin his professional career in a Bills jersey after Buffalo invited him to its rookie mini camp, he announced on Instagram on Sunday night.
The Central Connecticut State quarterback originally from Bellingham will remain in the northeast after throwing at UConn's pro day and the New England Patriots' local pro day. Olson led the Blue Devils to back-to-back Northeast Conference titles and the FCS Playoffs in consecutive years.
He was the first-team All-NEC quarterback in 2025 after setting CCSU single-season records for passing yards (3,123), passing touchdowns (25) and completions (271). Olson started his career at UMass, playing as a true freshman before transferring ahead of the 2024 season.
He will join Buffalo's other rookie camp invitees and the Bills 2026 NFL Draft class at the rookie minicamp, which begins the NFL offseason program. Buffalo has not announced the dates of its rookie minicamp yet, but the team will host organized team activity offseason workouts beginning May 18.
'Anything can happen': Milford product Brady Olson chasing NFL dream
The goal of attending the minicamp is to secure an invite to the team's full training camp and a spot on the 90-man roster for the preseason. Buffalo did not draft a quarterback in 2026 but still has two-time All-Pro Josh Allen. Kyle Allen (no relation) and Shane Buechele are the other QBs on the Bills' roster.
Teams are allowed to host rookie development programs for seven week. One rookie minicamp can be conducted either the first or second weekend after the draft, but no other activities are permitted over the weekend.
