Kam Jones is coming back to Milwaukee.
The former Marquette star has agreed to a two-way contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel confirmed on July 4.
It has been a whirlwind few weeks for the 24-year-old Jones, who spent his rookie season in 2025-26 with the Indiana Pacers.

The Pacers traded Jones to the Chicago Bulls for the rights to former Purdue star Braden Smith during the NBA draft on June 24, then Jones was waived by the Bulls a few days later.
The Bucks picked up Jones for one of their three two-way deals. He's well-known to local basketball fans after four seasons with MU, leaving as the program's No. 2 all-time leading scorer.
Jones had a frustrating first NBA season with the Pacers, not making his debut until Dec. 22 because of a back injury. He ended up playing in 37 games, averaging 4.4 points and 3.2 assists per game.
Two-way contracts allow a player to shuttle between the NBA and the G League (the Wisconsin Herd in Oshkosh are the Bucks' affiliate). Players can only play a maximum of 50 NBA games and are ineligible for the postseason.
