But get involved in a heated sports rivalry, and that can lead to some grill-scorching takes.
With the news that Culver's will sponsor a patch to the uniforms for University of Wisconsin football, men's basketball and men's hockey jerseys, a prominent former Marquette athlete dished up a hearty opinion.
"Never in my life having anything from Culver's again," Jones, a former MU basketball star, said in a social-media post on X.
Jones spent four years at MU, and has talked about how much beating UW in 2024 in his senior season meant to him.
Jones has moved on the NBA, but apparently the rivalry hasn't left him.
He was recently traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Chicago Bulls after his rookie season. Looks like he'll have to stick to Portillo's in his new home.
