Boston Bruins forward Pavel Zacha was recognized for his stellar stretch on Monday.
Zacha, who is playing perhaps the best hockey of his career, was named the NHL's Third Star of the Month for March.
Zacha, 28, paced all skaters with 13 goals -- making him just the fourth player in franchise history to outright lead the league in goals for a calendar month -- and helped lead his club to a 10‑3‑3 record during March. The Bruins closed the month extremely impressively, with the 28‑year‑old setting a new career high with his 28th goal and recording his first 60‑point season with an assist during their win over the Dallas Stars on March 31.

The B's used that strong month to propel themselves into the driver's seat for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.
Boston could finish with as many as three 30-goal scorers this season, with Zacha (28) and David Pastrnak (29) on the precipice of joining leading scorer Morgan Geekie (34).
Pastrnak (95), Geekie (63), Zacha (60), Charlie McAvoy (58), and Viktor Arvidsson (50) could also be joined by Elias Lindholm (47) to give the club six 50-point scorers over the course of the final seven regular season games against the Florida Panthers, Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, New Jersey Devils, and Tampa Bay Lightning (twice).
