I would love to hear his take on the current state of the team. He had his faults for sure but the team was at least competitive most of the time with him as coach.

I hate to say it, but BA caused his own issues by having Bettcher and Goodwin as heir apparent in his mind. Continuity of staffing would have been the ideal, but like a lot of our roster, we suck at coaching development as well.

He would def be better then what we have no doubt... But he’s not really the answer either. He was making too many stubborn decisions his staff is too old. And the his hearts not in it anymore. Hard pass.

BA was stubborn as a mule and did some idiotic things, but this was an 8-8 team last year with a backup quarterback and largely the same personnel other than that.

This is nearly all on the coaching and trying to jam these players into bad schemes that they don't fit in to.

Give me Arians with his heart half in it over our current coaching staff any day of the week.

I'm desperate for some competency

It’s over for this season. Shut it down and try to put a band aid on a shotgun wound and not turn Rosen into Andrew Luck getting the equivalent of a ruptured spleen from a car accident. I think the locker room just quit.

I think they hired someone like Wilks because they felt like they (MK/SK) could have complete control. I feel like they felt like BA had the org by the balls and that made them insecure. Wilks and the rest of the staff look like they have as much command of this team as the ball boy. I loved how BA would light up a guy on the sidelines when he screwed up, and he would call him out in a presser too. He would challenge players and light fires because he had their respect, and he would give shout outs when players deserved it. I don't see that with Wilks. I think the players have given up on this staff and are just collecting a check. I don't know what they can do short of letting the players run the team by committee, which is a terrible situation, but at least you're getting buy-in and effort hopefully.

I would take Arians calling plays via text message from his couch over Wilks and McCoy. He can stay home, drink scotch, and hang out in his boxers for all I care. Just text in the play.

People complaining about BA have a lot of egg on their face right now. The best we can expect from Wilks is competence.

Just awful.

Wilks being awful doesn’t erase BA’s shortcomings near the end. Idk why ppl keep trying to measure them.

LOL. This is a terrible take. He won 8 games with Blaine Gabbert and Drew Stanton starting 10. #butAmos Is like #butheremails

We’re marginally better at special teams. Hope you’re happy; the rest of the team blows. Wilks adds no value.

agreed. like it was a binary choice that either the Cardinals could have a very good coach with BA or the worst coach of all time.

How many games should BA have won with Gabbert and Stanton?

EDIT: People were literally like “we’re actually better at HC now with Wilks than with that chump BA.” BA was one of the best game-day coaches in NFL history.

Where has anyone said they’re happy? You’re the one who’s hellbent in bringing up BA after every loss. Nobody here is defending Wilks.
