The Cleveland Browns added two running backs in the 2025 NFL draft. Andrew Berry went out and selected both Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson to help improve the performance in the backfield.
Following those two additions, the future of longtime Browns star running back Nick Chubb has been very much up in the air.
Chubb, who came back in 2024 from a gruesome knee injury that he suffered in 2023, struggled to get back to his old form in the eight games he played last season. He carried the football 102 times for 332 yards and three touchdowns, averaging just 3.3 yards per carry.
Could Cleveland bring him back for one more run and have a three-man rotation in the backfield? It's still a possible option.
According to Ken Carman on 92.3 The Fan, the Browns would like to re-sign Chubb. Another team, namely the Chicago Bears, is also pushing to sign the veteran running back.
"The Browns want to bring Nick Chubb back. They are trying hard to bring Nick back. I know this," he said. "The Bears are very serious about bringing him in and are trying to make this push."
It sure sounds like the Chubb market could come down to both the Bears and Cleveland. Chubb would have a tough decision to make if that is the case.

At this point in time, there have been no other reports about teams being interested in Chubb. With the Browns, he would be competing with two young and talented backs, while in Chicago he would have a much clearer path to playing time.
Soon, a decision will need to be made. Cleveland fans continue hoping that Chubb comes back for one more run.
