The Cleveland Browns enter the 2026 NFL Draft in need of an infusion of youth. Ahead of the draft, everybody is popping out mock drafts.

That is no different over at the Daft on Draft podcast, a podcast dedicated to year-round NFL Draft content. In this new mock draft, the hosts of the podcast spun a wheel before every pick that had the options of a normal pick, a reach, or a trade for the picker to have to abide by.

In a fun, new twist to a mock draft, who did the Browns land?

Browns come on the clock at Pick No. 6

While the Browns would love to trade the pick, they spun a normal pick on the wheel when they came on the clock with the sixth overall pick. With that pick, the Browns landed Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate. In need of a wide receiver to upgrade one of the worst rooms in the NFL, Tate goes a long way and gives the Browns an ideal ball winner down the field.

That was only their first pick in this mock draft.

Browns then get their offensive tackle

After a run on tackles, the Browns came back on the clock with the 24th overall pick in the draft.

With this selection, the Browns took Utah offensive tackle Caleb Lomu. Needing a left tackle of the future, Lomu gives the Browns a young and athletic big man to mold. Lomu's best football is still ahead of him as well. This completes a revamped offensive line from the Browns after a stale unit over the past three seasons.

They aren't done yet!

With the 32nd pick in the mock draft, the Seattle Seahawks spun a trade. With Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren still on the board, a player the Browns have spent a ton of time with pre-draft, the Browns struck a deal with the Seahawks to come back on the clock for their third first round pick in this mock draft.

McNeil-Warren gives the Browns a safety under contract beyond the 2026 season, and a talented one at that. Defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg rejoices.
