With the NFL Draft now just hours away, the Cleveland Browns will be on the clock shortly. This means the mock drafts will soon come to an end. But before that happens, we have another one to talk about.

A new predictive mock draft was released by Daft on Draft on Wednesday, basing picks based on information that the author was hearing. And with Cleveland set to select twice, much lies in the balance for them as they look to pick up the pieces of an abysmal two-year stretch.

So, who did the Browns land in this mock draft?

Browns address the offensive line early

This mock draft did not have any trades. However, what it did do was identify teams who were likely trade-up candidates or trade-down candidates. The Browns were identified as a trade-down candidate. This should not come as a surprise for a team that is looking for as many bites at the apple as possible.

Sticking at pick No. 6 here, the Browns selected Utah offensive tackle and Outland Award-winner Spencer Fano to address their offensive line. Sitting 11th on the consensus board, this is a player the Browns would likely love to add after a trade-down.

Getting a wide receiver in the NFL Draft

Back on the clock with the 24th pick in the draft, the Browns then selected Indiana wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. They come on the clock after a big run on wide receivers, and Cooper was one of the only projected first rounders left to choose from.

However, Cooper is a dynamic playmaker with the football in his hands, strong at the catchpoint, and possesses gobs of body control. There is a chance he instantly becomes the best wide receiver in the Browns' room if selected tonight.
