Now that Myles Garrett has been traded to the Los Angeles Rams and is off making credit card commercials with his girlfriend, the Cleveland Browns likely had just two chances to make the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2026 list.
Cornerback Denzel Ward is one, and AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Carson Schwesinger is the other.
Guess who pops up at No. 93? Former UCLA Bruin (selected with the No. 33 overall pick) Schwesinger, who had a standout rookie season with the team, made the annual league-wide poll of NFL players.
Schwesinger led all first-year players with 146 tackles, 11 of them for losses and tied for third in interceptions.
He notched double-digit tackles in seven games, including six consecutive. That led to his rookie of the year selection.
The annual list announcement is in its 16th year. Two players will be revealed daily at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. in mini episodes on the social media site X until Sept. 4.
