The first day of mandatory minicamp has concluded for the Cleveland Browns, and it did not include a key contributor on the defensive side of the football. The fifth overall pick from a year ago, defensive tackle Mason Graham, did not practice and was spotted in a walking boot during the first day of mandatory minicamp.

There has not been a reason disclosed as to why Graham, who practiced throughout OTAs, was in a walking boot.

Browns need their DT room healthy

Not only is Graham in a walking boot, but Maliek Collins is not healthy enough to practice yet after suffering a season-ending knee injury in 2025. This leaves the Browns' defensive tackle room in a bit of a scramble leading up to training camp. Outside of these two starters, two guys who started for the Browns a year ago as well, the depth chart looks shaky at best.

The rest of the defensive tackle room includes 2024 second round pick Mike Hall Jr., who has not made much of an impact in his first two seasons, free agent signing Kalia Davis, 2025 undrafted free agent Adin Huntington, Sam Kamara, and Elijah Chatman.
